Sopwith Camel flies in to Stow Maries

23rd June 2009

A WW1 Sopwith Camel will fly in to Stow Maries aerodrome today - pilot will have to demonstrate a bit of judgement and skill!

Racecar built the Stow Maries Aerodrome web site  - and having been to the place - we have to say it is a breathtaking project. Today with this Sopwith Camel flying in to it's spiritual home - and the owners recently getting planning permission to restore the WW1 airfield to it's former glory - it's an exciting time for all involved with the Aerodrome.

PR from Stow Maries below:

Oldest Sopwith Camel flies in today!
