Bathurst gears up for the Armor All 12 Hour

Bathurst residents are counting down until teams and drivers hit town for this weekends 3 day Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour Showroom Enduro.

The Event is now in its fourth year and has something to entertain for all including, Superstreet Nationals, support races and the 12 hour race as the feature on the Sunday.

Raceline Events will present the Superstreet Nationals in Harris Park over the weekend which is a mix of tough street machines, muscles cars, classics, cruisers, rods, imports and hi-tech cars, Drift cars, an exhibition show n shine, audio show and sound off, driving activities, drag cars, trade displays, Pro-Mo Babe competition and Dyno competition.

The Company has been involved every year since the Events inception and Representative Ian Badock believes there will be enough entertainment to knock your socks off.

“It’s going to be “Super” spectacular. We’ve got about 5 or 6 of the top ten drifters in Australia coming to the Event so there will be plenty of talent and great action,” said Badock.

Car clubs from around Australia have also been invited to be a part of the Event with their own display section, which see the following clubs head down from Queensland to partake in the Event; Stadium Drifters, WRX Club and BMW owners club.

“We have a few more car clubs joining us this year. In previous years they were all from the local region but this year we have clubs from Sydney and Queensland.”

This year’s Event will also feature the Super Utes Show with over 200 utes competing.

The support categories will kick-start the Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour Showroom Enduro with Group N Historic Touring Cars are taking to the track at 7:35am for Practice on Friday, 12th February and the 12 hour race will finish off the weekend on Sunday, 14th February.

There will be eight categories contesting the 12 hour race including:

Class A   Natrad High Performance (All Wheel Drive)
Class B   Harrop High Performance (Rear Wheel Drive)
Class C   STP Performance
Class D   Racer Industries Production (Sport)
Class E   Repco Authorised Repair Production (Small)
Class F   Supercharge Battery Alternative Energy
Class H  Century Batteries V8 Utes
Class I   VIP Petfoods Invitational

The Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour Showroom Enduro is in its 4th year, with a grid of 45 expected to start. The race features production cars in a class structure representative of the mass road-going market. BMW, Mitsubishi, Ford, Holden, Nissan and Subaru will compete for outright honors.

Prostate Cancer is the official charity of the Event and the race will be televised in a 3 hour special on the SEVEN Network, through Fox Sports, New Zealand and other International Markets.

For the first time in the history of the Event, the 12 Hour race will be streamed LIVE through the Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour website .bathurst12hour.com.au.
