Hispania Racing driver aiming for further improvement this weekend

Bruno Senna is determined to put in a strong performance in Monza this weekend, before the Formula One World Championship moves out of Europe for the final five races of the season.

Fresh from pairing up with fellow Brazilian Lucas Di Grassi to compete in a triathlon in Monaco at the weekend, Bruno is feeling fit and ready for the challenge ahead.

Bruno has good experience of the circuit, having raced there every year since 2005, with the exception of last year when he was competing in the Le Mans Series, and is determined to help Hispania Racing build on its progress this season.

"Monza is a very atmospheric circuit with a great racing history so I always look forward to racing there. It is also a high speed circuit, with slow chicanes and medium speed corners interrupting the straight lines, so the car set up will be vital. We will use low downforce to achieve maximum speed and the brakes and tyres will be used very hard due to the high speed straights and low speed corners.

"Our aim is to achieve the team’s best results of the season and to be competitive against the other new teams on the grid.
