Chris Cox' 20m + Ferrari GTO Involved in Accident
10th July 2012
US businessman Christopher Cox was driving the Ferrari 250 GTO - one of just 39 ever built and worth upwards of 20 million - in France when it was reportedly hit by another vehicle attempting to overtake it outside Saint-Etienne-des Guirets, near Blois, France. Mr Cox had been taking part in the 50th anniversary tour of the Ferrari 250 GTO.
It is understood that Cox' wife Ann was injured in the incident, suffering a broken leg - our thoughts are with her and her family for a speedy recovery.
Racecar client Talacrest have sold this car a number of times, and though the actual damage has not yet been assessed, you know the car will be repaired back to original condition, regardless of cost. The pale green UDT Laystall car in the bottom picture - which had been sold to it's new owner for $35m a month before the event - has also been traded by Talacrest a few times.
