Offers Fans Last Chance To Choose Favorite Teams
 
Three separate awards will be given following Saturday's finale at Miller Motorsports Park

Only one race remains in the 2010 GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge season, yet teams will fight for more than class victories Saturday at Miller Motorsports Park near Salt Lake City, Utah.

Three different winners will be named in the Continental Tire "Fan Favorite" contest, introduced this season as part of the extensive partnership between Continental Tire and GRAND-AM. The Continental Tire "Fan Favorite" award allows teams the opportunity to engage with fans, and in return fans the chance to vote for their favorite team or driver via text message.

Following the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, a new winner emerged in the "Fan Favorite" ranks as Roush Performance became the fourth different team to win the Continental Tire "Fan Favorite" award, joining fellow Grand Sport (GS) class runners Momentum Racing Group, APR Motorsport and Mitchum Motorsports.

In the Street Tuner (ST) class, the streak continued for the BimmerWorld/GearWrench team at Trois-Rivières, as the team notched a fourth consecutive triumph. The organization has proven popular nearly everywhere, taking seven wins from eight rounds of "Fan Favorite" competition. Riley Racing's win at Lime Rock Park marked the only time BimmerWorld has been bested.

Saturday's race will not only see teams duel for class honors again, but the race will also mark the culmination of voting for the year-end prize, which combines both classes. All teams will battle for a $2,500 cash award in the winner-take-all affair.

Fans can text the keyword of their favorite team to 20123. Each vote provides a chance to enter to win a set of Continental Tires.
