Edoardo Piscopo to race at Monza with Trident Racing

 With just a few days to go before the most anticipated weekend of the season, Trident Racing is glad to announce the agreement reached with Edoardo Piscopo, who'll race the Dallara driven so far by Johnny Cecotto Jr at Monza.

 Trident Racing will be proud to enter the team's home event with an Italian racer. It also represents an additional motivation for everybody to push even harder in what's expected like a really demanding but also rewarding weekend. The team is also looking forward to the support of many, many fans.

Piscopo won't be new to Trident Racing, as he entered a collective test at Jerez in 2009, providing some impressive results and highly-professional skills. Then, after some more time, roads are crossing again right before a well-renowned event like the Italian Grand Prix. 

Edoardo Piscopo: “I'm really happy to make my debut with Trident Racing in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. The track is really special to me, as I've always ended up on the podium in junior open-wheel competition. I have to thank my father to have made this possible. My goal is to grow stronger as the weekend keep progressing, and try to make my way to a points spot. It won't be easy because I'm having my GP2 debut during the season's closing stages.”

Action at Monza will start as early as next Friday, with the traditional 30-minute practice session, scheduled for 11:55. At 3:55 PM, adrenaline will then flow in Qualifying, setting the grid for the first race. The weekend will continue on Saturday with the dispute of Race 1, at 15:40, while National Network RAI will provide live coverage for Sunday's Race 2 starting at 10:35.
