Facu Regalia returns to the European F3 Open at Brands
13th July 2012
After his debut in the GP3 series at Silverstone, the Argentine driver is back to the European F3 Open driving Campos Racing's Dallara F312 at Brands Hatch, and looks to improve his results after engine problems in Belgium. He will try to fight for another podium finish after claiming his first ever in the series at Nrburgring.
Regalia explained I was told Brands Hatch is a very fast layout. Ive never competed there before, but I have prepared this meeting at Campos Racing, using his driving simulator. Fortunately there are three free practice sessions on Friday. My goal is to learn the circuit during FP1 and then working on set-up because we need a good car for both qualifying session, due to our grid position will play a key role for the races. The young Argentine driver backed by Adrin Campos added that after our engine problems at Spa-Francorchamps I am hoping they were fixed here. Everyone at Campos Racing is motivated for this round, and we looking forward to this meeting and to be back in front places. On my side, its not a problem to change my driving style from GP3 car to Formula 3. I will try my best once again, and my aim is to fight for good results after a difficult weekend at Silverstone.
Track activity starts on Friday with three free practice sessions at 9.00, 11.50 and 17.00. On Saturday Q1 is scheduled at 11.20 with race one at 16.35. Final day will see Q2 at 10.00 and race two at 13.40. The timetable is GMT +1.
