Link Up Ltd MSA British Autotest Championship

Motorsport news from Round 7: Crimson Dynamo Autotest, 5 August
Steven Ferguson successfully defended his Link Up Ltd MSA British Autotest Championship title after a tight battle with Richard Pinkney on the Crimson Dynamo Autotest.
Pinkney needed to win to take the championship battle to a final round decider. He held a seven-second advantage after nine tests but a penalty on the following test helped Ferguson to halve the difference.
Ferguson continued to close the gap and took the win when Pinkney incurred a five-second penalty on the final test. Meanwhile Mark King secured the MSA Junior Award and has moved up to third overall in the championship.
