Regalia wants to recover in Formula BMW at the Hungaroring

30th July 2010

Facu Regalia, after a hard weekend at Hockenheim, wants to return to the good results at Budapest, where he wants to have a good qualifying next Friday so we can be able to fight for the top positions on the races.

The Spanish-Argentinean driver will face a tough weekend, as he is expecting very hot races, though he is confident that he can show his true pace in a circuit that he enjoys. “Budapest is a track where I always excel. I adapt to it easily, as it’s possible to see in the last years’ results, even in my rookie season in the Formula BMW Europe. Besides, in this year winter tests here, we were in good shape”, said the eighteen years old driver, who wants to look ahead after the bad luck from Hockenheim. “Luckily, this event comes just one week after the German round. We thought that we could get some good results there, but everything turned very hard since we hit the track. However, I’ve already forgot it and now I’m looking forward to be in the car and give my best”, underlined Regalia.

In his opinion, “the qualifying will be very important. It’s always important to be in the front of the grid in a circuit as Hungaroring. So I don’t put myself a goal for the races, I want to do my best and that’s it. I want to look to each race and do my best in which one of them”, ended the Eifelland Racing driver.

The timetable is the usual one for Grands Prix with free practice from 08.50 to 09.15 on Friday, and qualifying a short while later from 12.50 to 13.15. Then the first of the two 13 lap races on the 4.381 kilometre track, which is the shortest current Grand Prix track the series visits, will be at 09.45 on Saturday and the second on Sunday at 08.30. All these times are CET.
