KEVIN Doolan romped to victory in Scunthorpe's Christmas Cracker meeting infront of a bumper crowd.The Australian, who has returned to King's Lynn after a year withWorkington, top scored in the qualifiers with 14-points and edged out home hero Jerran Hart in the final. Luke Bowen of Rye House was third andCoventry's Ben Barker retired in the final.Runner-up Hart said: "I came here to win but second place is a good effort behind a rider of Kevin's class."

GREAT Britain international Lewis Bridger says he would like to return to Eastbourne in the future.Bridger will ride for Peterborough in 2010 but has now revealed how he doesn't want to turn his back on his parent club for good.He said: "They (Eastbourne) have made me who I am now. I just need to improve on that and come back in a couple of years as a slightly better rider. Then I can do an even better job for them."
