Our local Bar and Eating House in Ewhurst - a couple of miles down the road from the office. Place is situated just below Pitch Hill in the Surrey Hills - location blows your mind - the views are really incomparable. Great food and drink - and really friendly atmosphere - highly recommended.
Warrior War Horse

First published as My Horse Warrior by General Jack Seely in 1934, Warrior is published again in 2011. Introduced by Seely’s grandson, the writer and broadcaster, Brough Scott, it contains the original drawings and paintings by the famous equine and war artist, Sir Alfred Munnings, painted of Warrior on the Western Front in 1918 and at home on the Isle of Wight after the war.

The Martin Wills Memorial Trust, a UK-registered charity, has announced on the 16th April 2008 the winners of its 16th annual awards for creative writing by young people on, or with a background in, any aspect of horseracing. The Trust commemorates Martin Wills, an amateur jockey, point-to-point rider, racing enthusiast and journalist who died in April 1992, aged 39.
