The body, chassis, steering rack, suspension arms, torsion bars,
engine sump, wheels, disc brakes and much, much more are
all unique to a C Type and getting hold of the necessary
technical information to reproduce these components is a
major task.
This is something that has been achieved after painstaking research
and it means that Racing Green Cars can now offer customers
a C-Type Jaguar in three forms – the original 1951 drum-braked
car with twin, sand-cast, SU carburetors; the out and out lightweight
1953 Le Mans car for the purist and the semi-lightweight with
triple Webers, bonnet scoop, cold air box, disc brakes with
Dunlop calipers, but in 18 gauge alloy.
