Welcome to the home of Wycombe Summit MTB Club.

We are a mountain bike club organising rides in the hills and trails around High Wycombe and the Chilterns. Each month we hold a ride for prospective new members as detailed in the Rides section. Members also organise weekday night rides and other weekend rides. The club offers coaching to its members to help them improve biking skills.

The club leases a wood from the Forestry Commission and organises summer evening XC races between May and September. For further details and an entry form please see the Races section.

Our forum is where we post rides and chat about the club and this area is reserved for members.

OPEN PRACTICE NIGHT WEDNESDAY, 14TH MAY AT LOTTS WOOD

WITH the start of our race season just days away Summit Racing's traditional practice night takes place in Lotts Wood this Wednesday, 14th May and is open to all local mountain bikers who want to try the course before entering the series.

Please arrive from 19.00 and either park on the verge beside the wood on Chalk Lane or in the lay-by on the A413 at the bottom of Keepers Lane and ride up - Lotts Wood is on the right immediately after the railway bridge if approached from this direction.

There is no entry fee just come along and ride.

There are several new sections to try out. We have built an exciting new technical section through the large bombhole with a tricky exit. Towards the end of the two and half-mile course is a new section with switchbacks that will really test your balance.

The opening round of the Leisure Wheels-backed series is on Wednesday, 21st May. Check out our Racing section for full details and entry form.
