The rebuild of this classic 1949 healey is progressing well, with the chassis now stripped and blast cleaned. The car is in excellent condition considering it has been in "storage" for nearly 30 years in the owners barn.
Unforunately, the owner of the Healy, has had a short illness, which has delayed the restoration of this beautiful car, the work is now set to be carried out over this winter. Watch this space for more photos as the car emerges!

The Healey now stands in a much more recognisable state. It is due to go to be painted very soon, and once that is complete, it is onto the home straight for completion. The owner wishes to be driving it this summer, after 30 years, something she has been looking forward to a great deal.

The car is now at the painters and due back very soon. Once in the workshop the engine can be refitted and the end is then in sight.

After lots of up and downs with this project we finished it in time for the Silverstone Classic meeting in July and the owner drove the car for the first time in 35 years. It was taken to Silverstone and put on display with other Healey Silverstones from the owners club. They were gathered to celebrate 60 years of the car so it was very fitting to get chassis number 4 finished and on display.
